I want to take a moment to say THANK YOU for the love & lovely comments on my recent set, Part Of Your World – this set is personally meaningful to me so the abundance of positive responses has been overwhelming in the best way. The tail is the Lilikoi design by Finfolk Productions (and the reason for the Fluttershy tattoo I now have on my thigh haha) & I made the silicon seashells & starfish necklace worn for an added personal touch to ensure that this set will be unique. I was a professional mermaid & ran a Mermaid School in Queensland, Australia so this set reflects my real self and my real life too, despite the fantasy element. Though as my name suggests, a touch of fantasy is a normal part of my everyday life.
A mermaid set was my ideal dream set for SG and I'm so grateful to MilkyDame for capturing it perfectly. I hope to have another mermaid set in future shot in an aquatic location for added freedom of movement, because posing on land in fins is limiting and my modelling speciality is underwater photography, so that is the next BIG goal for SG. I don't know if it will happen, but I certainly hope that it does and dreams are what inspire us to reach new heights and chase after amazing experiences. At the moment I couldn't be happier with this dry mermaid set, and am overjoyed and flattered by the positive responses to it – I was a little concerned that it might be outside of this site's tastes so have renewed confidence in playing around with other fantasy inspired themes.
Aside from the incredibly supportive and genuinely wonderful community, it's the way SuicideGirls embraces differences and encourages the sharing of passions that makes this site uniquely and remarkably awe-inspiring. There is no other site like it, and the sets are not only visually breathtaking but emotionally captivating as they share parts of the model's true self and are not wholly performative. It was a pleasure shooting this set and the results definitely exceeded my expectations. Shooting with SG has been an amazing experience both times, and I’m so glad to have taken the plunge to shoot and share a little of myself here.
