I've been collecting pins for a few years now. I only buy them when I see something that really catches my interested or is cat themed. I usually get them when I buy something else in Hot Topic or Torrid. I haven't bought any in a long time but I just found a few that I hadn't added to my collection yet while I was cleaning my room. I looked thru them while I was counting them. The count is up to 79. There were some in there that I hadn't seen in a really long time. Alot of them made me smile because quite a few of them have memories attached.
Eventually I'm going to get a big piece of black material and I have a curtain rod that I'm going to roll it up on. I plan on putting all the pins on the material and just unrolling it as I get more. I just haven't put it together yet because I'm not living in a place that I was planning on staying for this long. When I move I plan on putting it together as decoration in one of the rooms.
When I move I'm also going to see if I can get some of my cross-stitch pieces framed so I can put those up.

Aren't you the crafty one.
Your collection sounds like it takes up much less space.
I'm headed for Italy on Friday so I imagine I just may find more.
my skates finally got to their destination, which kind of sucks cos they went to my old house in NY (where my sister lives). so i have to go fetch them.
they're having some things for the new recruits this month and a due date for paperwork and all that.
so we'll see!
