So I went to a roller derby practice last night. I was afraid that I would just become more frustrated, well I did a bit, but it was more jealousy. Actually I'm not sure if it was being jealous of the skaters or envious of the skaters. Because I so wanted to be them and be able to skate again. Most of the people didn't know that I was going to be visiting. It was kind of amusing to see a bunch of them do double takes.
Alot of people came over and asked me how I was. And I got some videos of people skating and doing drills, mostly the falling drills. The videos are a bit dark but you can still see and hear the people. I'll put up links to them later. I'm still walking around fine, the swelling has gone down quite a bit on my foot. It's still a bit swollen but I have a feeling that the more I walk around the more its going to go away.
I was flipping channels and I found a really bad old horror movie. It's called Squirm. The write up on the tv is: Downed power lines on a rainy night make high-voltage mud, turning Georgia worms into man-eaters.
and just for fun here is a quote one of the main characters said:
"Something is making the worms go crazy" Squirm (1976)
