what's up bizatches?!
I decided to take a break from work to say hey and give an update. Right now I'm doing some re-score for The Real World: Season 9 DVD, but a breather is what I really need.
Things are going very well with the girl I've mentioned before, we hit it off nicely and things are fantastic. It's been a while since I met a girl like this; my smiles are real.
I threw a sick party this past weekend. I've been getting IMs from those that attended telling me how fucking sick it was. A lot of effort and planning went into it, and I have to say, I had a blast. The playlist I put together was stellar, the weather was gorgeous, there was plenty to eat and drink, the pool was open and there were a bunch of hot girls running around so no one can complain. I am the reigning champion at the moment, the kingdom is mine.
Next Thursday I leave for vacation. I'm super-psyched, lots of fun awaits.
I'm completely in love with this band Iris. They remind me of Depeche Mode, but good (yeah, I said it, I don't like DM). Totally killer stuff, I recommend checking out the samples on their site and hitting up their MySpace page to hear the full-length stream of "Lands of Fire." Their new album "Wrath" will be out at the end of the month, I have it pre-ordered and it's pure torture.
That is what's been keeping me busy. The other part of my busy schedule is what I'm really excited about. I've decided to boot up all my synths, software and noise machines and head back into the musical dungeon. I'm working on a track right now called "Strychnine and Cyanide." I'm very much excited. The words were written years ago and I was just never ready to put music to it. I'm thinking of taking it to a dark synthpop direction, it just feels right.

Glad to hear it's going well with your lady and how completely bad ass your party was! I live out in the country, the best party we could probably pull off would have to be a hoedown. Yeah, we're totally hardcore down here!
