[you all need to check out Rabbit Junk. Currently my favorite CD]
happy saturday!
My copy of Tiger showed up yesterday, but unfortunately I have to wait to install it. My new powerbook is currently on its way out of China, but doesn't look like it will get here before the end of next week. So for the time being I have to keep my desktop un-updated because there's some re-score work we're doing for MTV and ProTools isn't 10.4 certified yet. Yep, that's some boring ass info, but that's what journals are for.
Heading down to NYC tonight to go clubbing with a friend and her posse of unruly debaucherants. Should be a good time, unless I get molested by a tranny...then the night is officially over. Wish me luck!

but from what i read on my surfing adventures so far.. i'm now more intrigued to hear their shit than i was before i started lookin..
i ordered Rabbit Junk.. man i can't fuckin wait to blast that out.. as well as takin it back home in summer and blasting it out the car stereo while cruising (yea, i ain't got no car here).
haven't got round to watching Sonatine yet. but i'll look out for Wild Zero - sounds promising..
as for a list of some good asian cinema, check it out..
Audition, Zatoichi, Gohatto, Boiling Point, Rainy Dog, Dead or Alive, Lay Lines, Shiri, Bangkok Dangerous, The Returner, Fudoh: The New Generation..
also check out Brother, which is an american/japanese crossover with Takeshi Kitano - this one's really cool.
and if you wanna have a laugh then check out the ridiculously absurd Battle Heater... about a homicidal heater of all things.
as well as Full Metal Yakuza. now i don't know if it was deliberately meant to be this funny.. but we certainly laughed a lot.
so let me know whenever you get to watch anythin cool, coz i'm always on a quest for cool shit.
