now that i have your attention ha ha i only wish i could have idle hands to get into some evil and mischief , I have no time for anything since moving from Calgary to Vancouver Island and starting my commercial diving, it has been a whirlwind of constant moving and working on the next project to move ahead i never have down time, i guess thats not a bad thing at least i am finally making money again which is nice.
I just currently switched jobs since i was laid off from the last company i worked for because they had no work for me because they lost contracts to a competitor which i am now working for ha ha. Since starting with them i have now worked a month with out a day off which is crazy i am surviving off of energy drinks, chocolate and anything with sugar and i dont for see it slowing down any time soon which is ok for me, as long if there is time for me buy a new truck and camper and live a more transient i will be happy and it will make it that much easier to do my cross Canada trip in the future which i cant wait to do.
I cant complain about all the travelling i have been doing on the island i get a change to explore the huge beautiful that it is even though i miss out on thanks giving and some other things for work but at least i am working towards something.
Yesterday i travelled from Tofino to Port Hardy
it was a long drive and covered most of the island but no matter where i was there where trails and things to possibly check out like a ancient rainforest right outside Port Alberni called Cathedral Trail
It is insane to see the size of these great trees you feel so small walking the foot path around them it is unbelievable that the main road just passes by the ancient trees and i bet most people have no idea or don't care i guess the only way is to stop and appreciate them and take a break from life and enjoy the nature around you.
The biggest tree i saw was over 800 years old and 76m (249 ft tall) and 9m (30 feet round) i could make a really awesome tree house with that tree it would be so much fun!!!
I think when ever i am travelling for work i have to find somewhere different to explore now since i am realizing how much there is around me to see :D
