Okay...conversational dry spell there...Just not into internetting lately....Call me a simple man...Call me lazy...Hell, I don't care, call me a scum sucking son of a motherless goat...But what I'll tell you is if you can get to Pasadena to see the Mark Ryden exhibit - You should...It's not very big, but dear god standing right next to those things was almost like getting sucked in....Do a Google search right now and you'll get some examples of his work (oils by the way), but you're not even close to knowing what I'm talking about...I'm all into seeing gobs upon gobs of shit (also referred to as "texture") chunked up on the canvas...That's truly amazing..."chunks of shit"...run with it.....Ryden's are really smooth but there are some many minute details....I'd love to tell you how long it's running, but #1) I don't know....and #2) "running until..."dates are for people already approaching the situation as a "last minute" endeavor...Get your ass out and see it NOW...It'll be worth it....
