Alright, y'all. Say goodbye to the blonde. It changes tomorrow at 11:30. I'm going to my favorite folks right after my first class and having it changed. A little darker than my current natural color, with some added spice. Because it's me, and I need some heat.
'Cause, you know, that's how I roll.
I got to see my Pei Pei on Sunday. It was so good to catch up. And it wasn't like the last time I hung out with a friend who I hadn't seen in a long time--mega-super-uncomfortable awkward--but like our old times before she moved and my life was taken over by thesis and grad apps.
We went to the bar where she works 'cause they had free pool. We misbehaved quite a bit.
It was weird, though, because we were two hot young twentysomethings in a bar full of older, lonely, single, white dudes. Eek.
But, of course, that didn't stop us from having fun.
Oh, and don't put cherries in Pei Pei's Absolut, soda, and lime juice. She'll find any way to get them out:
(Get it? She's Asian and using the straws like chopsticks so she could get the stupid cherry out of her drink. She's also good at math and a bad driver. Except not for the math part. And she's more of an aggressive driver than anything else. But she loves making fun of stereotypes.)
Anyhoot.
Had an AWESOME night at work Friday. Straightening my hair seems to work out well for me. . .
And now, I have approximately 2039487238946y32 pages to read before I go to work in less than an hour. And I should probably bathe at least a little.
Nah. I washed up after the gym this morning.

academia! i love it when people get into that shit, because i never, ever will. i have kind of resigned myself to the fact that i am not going to go to school. it's been almost five years since i graduated high school and i've made up my mind to go every year, and have applied to several different schools, but i've always changed my mind by the time registration comes around. i admire your dedication.
