Okay, some details.
There will be no suing since the people who hit me have yet to be caught and they obviously had nothing anyway. I wasn't going to press charges or anything, until they fled the scene and left me holding the ball in a parking lot at five in the morning.
The damage to my car is minimal at best. I just need to have it fixed because I have a loan on the vehicle and will probably be selling it when I leave Dayton to go to grad school out in Cali. This is now the FOURTH time that someone has hit my car and failed to claim responsibility. (It's been T-boned and the guy anted up, but only after MY insurance company threatened to go after him. And this guy actually had monay!)
I had to cancel my vacay because Pei has run into a lot of financial problems because her fiance's lawyer dropped the ball, and he went to jail over felony assault charges that were supposed to be dropped. So now she has to foot all the bills until a second lawyer (the stary behind this guy is surreal and involves the Fresh Prince) can get JC out.
I've been working and woring on my thesis all summer. It's lovely. I've been lazy this week and haven't gone to the coffee shop at all. I'm normally there all day before work. Maybe I'll go in a little bit. I'm all sweaty from working out, and it's about 95 and super humid outside right now.
I just ate tofu, curried rice, and steamed French green beans. ANd I'm hungry. . .
I've been hanging out with a lot of great people, too.
It looks like Matt and I are back on the friends with sexual tension page. . . But it's cool. It's easier and smarter this way.
Got some cute texts from a particular Roman last night. . . hahaha. . . ah. . . Nico.
And I might be starting a new working relationship with a local photographer. Probably nothing for here, though.
ANyway. Off to do real things.
