Children of the god. Spawn of the devil.
In our daily experiences and exposures to life, we see it. In my role as a student of sociology, I read and study the great inequalities and inequities, the tensions and conflicts between us, the breaks in the dams that lead to floods of blood and hatred.
In our daily experiences and exposures to life, we see it. In my role as a student of literature, I read and study the great connections and similarities, the emotions and beauty among us, the great heights of revelation and artistic knowledge.
We are the proof. The non-existence of the dichotomy. Within every one of us is great light and abysmal darkness. Love and hatred. Beauty and fear. Every human mind can grasp greatness of all degrees. Every one of us can fall deeper into despair then we could ever before understand.
All of us are capable of creating great beauty. All of us are capable of taking another's life. We are no different than the faces we've separated from our personally defined existence. No more so than we differ from the faces we seek in the mirror every morning.
The scope of human experiences ranges from gross acts of violence to all-encompassing love. Within the span of a life one cries, fears, loathes, loves, cries for other reasons, and holds the hand of a child. We come to know the passion and the disconnect. We know the hollowness of being alone, we know the fulfillment of a kiss.
It is not a question of whether humans are naturally good or evil. We are both and we are neither. There is no contradiction. We are humans. We are the mirrors of our creator.
We are the image of god. Of nature. The Buddha. Within all of us is great love, compassion, empathy, strength.
We are the image of god. Of chaos. The unknown. How do we interpret that?
You have to be sure. With every action, you represent yourself, your interpretation, your defined place among the Everything.
We are all human.
We are all monsters.

Hmmm.
And so sorry about your continuing PI battle.
It took a long time for me, too.
We found this soap, though, which if you use it immediately after noticing the first PI bumps, will actually stop the spread.
At least it worked for me a couple times.
And I'm WAY allergic.
I'll get the info for you.
Not that it'll help now....
And Zui is very attractive.
Thank you for clearing that up!
And my why do I bother thing was more about not feeling like putting up a new post and wondering why I felt like I should anyway.
