I think I work at the American Idol store. We usually send stuff to Carrie Underwood's band while out on tour, Chris Sligh just dropped $13k on studio equipment and Bo Bice (who is an exceptionally nice guy BTW) bought a guitar processor today. I don't even watch the show which makes for an interesting conversation with them.
Unfortunatley, I did not win the Powerball for $258 million... but this guy did.

Im kind of off of piano right now, but at least I know with future instructors Ill need to tell them that I cant work on technical aspects + expression at the same time, so if you want me to work on expression, dont correct my technical aspects and vice versa. I know once I get back to a reasonable level of proficiency, itll be much easier to work on everything at once, but Im definitely not there now. Oh, and Id like to find someone who understands that 40-year-old hands that havent played in almost 20 years dont have all of the required dexterity at first. Did that instructor not believe me when I told her my fingers couldnt physically do what she wanted me to do? So weird. Maybe I should resume my clarinet or flute lessons instead (I was pretty musical at one point in my life) . . .
