After right at a month, I am finally updating.
Where to begin...
I have been uber busy with work because I got ANOTHER promotion. This one comes with a raise. Not a big one but at least it is something. I still look for a new job every week because frankly, I could be on welfare what I make. I have made a lot of good friends there but I know as soon as I leave, those will probably be over. That'll be sad. Plus I have health insurance which, right now, is huge. My new medication is an IV infusion and it is kind of expensive. Like $6,000+ expensive. Fucking drug companies. My cost... $150. If I jump ship it could be 4 months before I get insurance again. Not good.
In band news, the punk band is falling apart. The drummer doesn't want to play drums and the other guitar player is "not his cup of tea". So back to the drawing board with that. However, right after all this went down, a friend asked me to jam with him and this new band he was joining. Why not? Kenny (drums) and Josh (electric guitar) and straight up rock and then the twin girls, Megan and Sophie and the leads. I am there to bridge the gap from the girls country sound to the guy's hard rock. Actually, it sounds fucking good. Here is there Myspace. So far we have had 3 practices and have re-arranged 3 songs of their's. We are all working well together. Now, these girls have talent and are hot!! Plus, they have had songs on some MTV shows and have ASCAP/publishing support. What does this mean? Word on them there streetz is that we may be opening for a national act for a number of dates. I may be going on tour... maybe.
Even though I am running low on funds, I still have enough to buy a project car. For you car nuts, it'll need an exhaust manifold gasket, a leaky power steering master cylinder, replace all the brake lines, fuses (I hope) and quite a bit of body work what is it...
