Update time!!!
I am going to break it down for yous.
Pumpkin Carving
SPOILERS! (Click to view)
Pumpkin Carving last week was a good time. Haven't done it in YEARS. I was actually surprised that I was invited because there wasn't that many people there and there must have been some other better choices but hey... I'm not complaining. They had a bunch of patterns to cut out of a book but only one appealed to me. It was a skull and crossbones and didn't look too hard to accomplish. What a pain in the butt!!! I spent 30 minutes just cutting the pattern out of the book. I hadn't even got it to the pumpkin yet. So I was trying to figure out if there was something I could design that would be easier and funnier. I GOT IT!!!
Guess which one is mine?
That's right...
yes, I am sick
Halloween Night:
SPOILERS! (Click to view)
Well, I went to work dressed in the lederhosen. Lots of people took pictures but none of them have sent them to me. I will have to get it too you soon. That night I went to the Nine Inch Nails show. I have seen them a couple of times but I have never been on the floor for it. Completely different experience. This was a lot more interesting stage show though some of the songs were a bit slow. This was a scene of a swamp whle they played music that made you feel like you were there:
Of course the grand ending:
After the show I walked across the street to Broadway and into Layla's to see my favorite local band, Hillbilly Casino. I couldn't stay long but guess who showed up:
An 8ft Chewbacca who looked AMAZING! After that went over to East Nashville (trendy, bohemian area) to meet up with some friends. Great people watching. Saw some good costumes and some piss poor ones. I mean if you are going out on Halloween, go in style.
The REAL Halloween party:
SPOILERS! (Click to view)
Saturday night was the real party. I had to dash home from work at 5:30 to start getting ready. I mean come on, I had to leave for the part by 9. And yes it took me 3 hours to get ready. Shower, shave, glue prosthetics, apply latex, makeup, powder, dress and go. And what was I...
Hellboy
Hopefully I can get some better pictures but I couldn't wait any longer. I ended up winning the costume contest getting me a $75 gift certificate to a nice restaurant. Cha-ching!!!
and just because I found this funny as shit...
