Last night I got to go see David Byrne at the Ryman Theatre (original home of the Grand ole opry). It was interesting to see him there. One because I had never been there before and 2) of the production value. The had 3 backup singers that played guitar and danced plus 3 classically trained dancers dancing interpretively to his songs. It was amazing!! The only bad thing last night was that there was another show I really wanted to see but couldn't. It was Peelander-Z. If you haven't seen them, do it. They are 100% re-dick-u-lus!!! Music... Meh. But the stage show they have is off the wall funny. Just watch...


Now today at work a Japanese guy came back to drums and asked for a couple of things in his broken Engrish. So I say,
- Are you on tour?
- Yes.
- What's the name of your band?
- Peelander-Z
- FUCKING RIGHT!!! I thought it was you. You guys are fucking ridiculous!! (Yes I yelled this in the middle of the store)

They were really excited that I even knew who they were. We talked for a couple minutes then they had to get on the road. Leave it to me, Peter Frampton comes into the store... Meh. Pelander-Z... HOLY FUCK!!!
