K I had to make a new entry because of recent events.
4 US Civilians were dragged through the streets, burned, beaten and then 2 of them hanged from a bridge.
Well Mr Bush, you send our troops over there for no good reason it seems and then rebuild the place you blew up only to have the locals repay you (and us) by dragging corpses through the streets. Then we get to see them hanging from a bridge while schoolchildren dance the MC Hammer underneath them.
Now this makes me sick. Iraqi's better be glad that a "Real" American isn't in the White House. Cause if any of the Rednecks that I know where President, Iraq would either be devoid of Americans or it would be the flattest place on the earth.
Theonly thing thats certain about the war is that it's a double edged sword.
You don't have to support the war but you do have to support the troops that are over there. They have no choice. Sure they didn't have to sign up, but if they didn't then the Draft would scoop up them and some others that didn't want to go. So support them.
Also if any Troops read this, it doesn't matter 2 shakes of a shit what you think about the war if you are there. If you are there then you do what has to be done to protect yourself AND your mate. That is the only thing that matters. Not the damm Iraqis, the dam oil or whatever other bullshit that people blame the war on. When you are laying in the sand, it's your squadmate that matters, and thats all that matters. So if you dont agree with the war, tough shit. Don't be like the guy from Miami.
Well thats my rant. Seems like my Passion review didn't go over too well. Understandable. It was a tough call to make on a tough subject.

As for the anti-Semitic 'bunkyness,' from what I've read and you can either confirm or deny this, the movie makes Pontius Pilate out to be very concerned and torn up about the event while the Jews are portrayed as fully responsible. Look up your facts to realize that this is not historically accurate. Perhaps it doesn't contradict but it sounds like it contests the facts. The fact that Gibson is a staunch Catholic doesn't really help his case much.
Anyway, I do support the troops. I support them so much I want them to come home so they can enjoy being alive. We need to stop spending 4 billion (yes thats right) a week since its not wanted anyway and not doing any good.
