New movie review.
MATRIX REVOLUTIONS
Kinda knew that this was gonna be difficult to watch just because, what else can they do. But I went into it with open mind and ready for action. At the halfway point I was still waiting for that action to appear. It took forever to really get cracking in my opinion but when it did, boy was it good. Special effects were great and the fighting was cool. But the story was lacking alot. I just didn't think that they could keep that going as good as they started. Acting lacked, no real star performances and Neo became a joke. There is one scene that stuck out in my mind as comical. Towards the end Neo confronts Smith and I swear it looked like a gay couple having a quite arguement. Am I too critical on these films? Oh I dont think so, I just want a saga that starts off well to end well. I mean, Star Wars in the 70s, Lord of the rings, these are sagas that did and are gonna end well. Why couldn't the Matrix do the same thing. Actually caught myself and others around me laughing. Oh well.
My recommendation: Wait til all the hype dies down. You won't miss anything. Same inert acting from Reeves and the plot doesn't change from the last two. There were 2 high points in it for me though. A wicked titty twister applied in the club scene to a patron and at the end. You know, the end, where the movie stops and the credits roll. Loved that part. Great music in the credits.
I give it a 6
for the action
for the titty twisting scene
for so much stuff to watch at one time
for the story and
for the disregard by the Wachowski brothers to try and finish this great saga out without flopping it.

i was really disappointed by the end. very anticlimactic. it felt like the movie should have gone on for 15-20 more minutes. the action stuff was cool, but it kinda felt like they were riding on their own success and not paying attention to the movie they were actually putting out.
