Wow what a turn of events in America. Alot of things have hit the news that make me mad, sad and a liite bit just plain befuddled.
1. American soldier weds Iraqi woman. Nothing wrong with that. Love finds you where it finds you. But why the hell does the military feel the need to keep them apart. Yes, he did do it while on duty and technically that is deriliction of duty but goddamm people. Give the fucking man a break. He's out there busting his ass to defend this country and you repay him by telling him he cannot see his wife and court-marshalling him. Good god. Someone just slap Bush and kick his ass. He should be stepping in and putting a stop to this crap. But then again. Thats what we get for voting a man who's never been in the "real" military into a position of running it. Fucking America.
2. Gary coleman getting 12,000 votes. Holy crapoly this guy who has't really been in the spotlight except for a bug commercial, gets 12,000 votes in the California recall election. What makes me sad about this is that he should be getting alot more recognition for that. Maybe even a comeback special or something. Comon people. Gary aint all that bad. If you can truthfully tell me that you dont ever say "What you talking bout" at some point, whether in conversation or drunken antics, then ill call you a liar. Bring back Gary Coleman.
3. Governer Schwarzzanager ( maybe correct spelling don't care to check ). Some people dont like this. I can see why. I won't argue with that one bit. But, to defend the position, who else really would you vote in there. They sure as hell werent' going to vote Grey Davis back. We know that. No matter how good he could be or was or whatever, he was a goner. So who else? The porn star? Hmmm. So the state votes the highest paid actor in the world, wife of one of the most powerful and historical political families, and a general all round cool guy into the seat. This man gives money to charities, was the presidents physical fitness man and came to this country an imigrant with 20 dollars in his pocket. A rags to riches story. He was a tank driver in the Austrian army. He's been all over the world and if memory serves me correctly has never been divorced. The only thing that they could hold over his head was a Playboy interview from the 70's. Good god, who wasnt porking who in the 70's. Anyway. I wont argue with anyone else on who should have been governer, but if you look at actors being governers (Jessie Ventura) then you might give the guy a chance.
4. Roy the Tiger man attacked??? WOW. That sucks. I feel bad for him. Never went to see him but that really sucks. I hope he gets better.
Now comes the befuddled part.
5. The day after Roy gets attacked, NYC police are called to investigate some guy getting clawed and find a 450lb Tiger in this guys apartment. They also find a 250lb Alligator in there as well. Hmmmm. All I can say is WTF were you thinking? Jesus man.
Anyway. Send me your comments. I'd like to hear em.

4: i felt bad for those guys, too. they seem like some of the nicest people in the world. its weird, but all of the las vegas entertainers give me that impression. wayne newton and sigfried and roy especially, though. they just seem like genuinely nice guys that know they have it made and know who they have to thank for that. seem exceedingly grateful and polite and stuff like that. idunno. i think i'll cry when wayne newton dies and i couldnt name you a song he's ever sang.
