Ok, I've been gone long enough.
Things are finally falling back into place.
The car is fixed, the internet works, lent is over. Now its time to get back to walking and reading and focusing on the finances (which the govt decicded to return some of, thankfully.)
Things are, for the most part, back to normal.
I'm starting to really enjoy the volunteer job at the Fox Theater Not only am I making some interesting new friends, I'm having the opportunity to see really good bands for free and to be introduced to more bands that I never existed. On schedule for this month:
Spoon
Vampire Weekend
Avett Brothers (a band I knew little of but am starting to like)
and most importantly
Atoms for Peace
Thom Yorke is god. And to have have such a talented back band makes him even better. I'm gonna show up an hour early and see if they let me watch the soundcheck.
I've decided to try to work at least one band I know little about or have never heard of to try to broaden my musical library.
Work is work. About all I'd like to say about that.
I've decided to take up The Sound and the Fury. I bought it years ago and it gradually made it into the bookshelf where so many good one already go unread. Dust it off and sit myself down. That is the plan.
And, I gotta spam my breast cancer walk again.

The name is Aaron Baca. I'm walking in the San Francisco Walk 2010. Don't drink one beer this weekend and donate that $5 to boobies. I know you like looking at them just as much as I do.
Current Crush. moonbeam3, of course.
Can you blame me? The girl flashes her boobs on Bradbury's unfilled gravesite.
