House drama sucks. I feel like I am running a day care. Everyone is worried about their stuff and what I need is never an issue.

Taking a friend out for his bday tonight. I can't wait to see moonbeam. She calms my every annoyed nerve.

Favorite album lately: Toss up between Shostakovich Piano trio number 2 and Tom Waits Glitter and Doom Tour. (Knowing that I am one of those pairs of hands clapping makes it even better.

Depends on my mood, really. Generally, the music I seek out to comfort me immediately relates to what's the source of anxiety... but, for some reason, if I'm just on the verge of freaking out this song calms me every time.

ELO. I bonded with "Tightrope" when I had a bad trip on acid and someone played it to lift me up. Even now 20 years later it has the same effect.
