I wish I had a quote to use today but I don't. It's been slow lately. I woke up today and realized that I missed my second favorite holiday of the year (St. Paddy's being the first of course.) I'm almost thinking that this is a sign of my age catching up to me. I basically worked last night and did nothing over the weekend. It also has a lot to do with my girlfriend. Things are still fine but the whole "When are you buying a house...going to move in together...get back to school... make a doctor's appointment?" Thing is really starting to suffocate me. She is definately worth keeping but is there a nice way to tell someone that I'm not sure if that is what I want right at this moment? In her defense, we have been dating for awhile and I think a lot of it has to do with her wanting to move on with her life, where I have been stuck in this limbo of inactivity for awhile. It also has a lot to do with the fact that she quit her job to work on her art (she really is talented) and doesn't have many friends and therefore has a lot of free time. It seeems like she wants to occupy every momoent of my day.
In other news, my cousin is visting from Englands starting a week from today. I am really excited. I'm taking her to Tahoe, Yosemite, Napa for wine tasting and to a lot of bars in the city and Oakland for sure. It'll be nice because it will releave some of the relationship pressure that has been building up lately. I really could use a couple of bars and no worries.
I think I'm gonna go hibernate in my room and catch up on some Netflix tonight. Lord know I probably didn't watch what I paid for last month.

salome:
Well, I have to say I kind of sympathize with your woman. But I also understand where you're coming from. I say go out and have fun with your cousin, and hopefully that visit will distract you both from the issue. Then you can discuss it with hopefully clearer heads.
