Just a little vent about what happened today:
Two women came up to my door today to ask me to sign their petition to stop the passing of SB 48. This is the bill that encourages homosexuality to be taught in the education system to grades K-12. The main reason used for trying to convince me to sign was that by having this bill pass it encourages all children to live a homosexual life style. I turned their petition down. I think children have a right to learn about homosexuality in school, especially by an unbiased teacher so they can have a better understanding. & Im sorry, but having this bill pass will not encourage homosexuality to all children. Instead, it may help future generations to be tolerant to their peers, eliminate discrimination & prejudice.
Trying to keep my faith in humanity and equality.
