Things are looking up. Here's why:
1. I have an assistant now. The assistant, has an assistant. It's true! She's great too, incredibly helpful and good spirited. It's helped me relax so much, which in turn is helping my boss relax too. It was just too crazy before, one person cannot deal with the amount of work that was being laid on me. Not without snapping... and whoops, I snapped. i went into my boss's office, ready to breakdown 'cause I felt so stressed, and told her exactly why I was in need of some assistance. Guess she understood. So that's good thing #1.
2. My sweet, sweet, new love. She's so perfect. No, my love affair is not my assistant... it's my computer. Is it normal to love a machine this much? ... Who am I kidding? I don't care if it's abnormal, I'm in love! The cost turned out to be $300.00 lower than my brother originially thought it would be too. That would be good thing #2.
3. About a month and a half ago I applied online for a part-time job. I heard nothing (the bastards). I completely forgot I even applied, until yesterday when this girl from the company phoned to explain that they had major computer problems and had lost the print out of my contact information. Long story short, job interview was today at noon. It's one of those jobs which allow the employees to decide which days they work and how many hours they work on those days - but the minimum pay per week is $225.00. I won't bore you guys with ALL of the details though. Oh, maybe I should mention I got the job? Training starts Thursday. BADDA BING #3.
Anyone want to come visit me? I offer Juicy Gels. However, the Juicy Gels are conditional upon good conversation. There's always a catch, isn't there?
