It’s come to my attention that newer members of Suicide Girls, and maybe even veteran members, aren’t quite aware of the Hopeful community, and how girls “go pink.” I’ll lay it out here.
💖
An aspiring model submits a set of 𝙰𝚙𝚙𝚕𝚒𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 photos. These photos are reviewed by Suicide Girls Admins, and are either accepted or rejected for the site.
Accepted girls are given an account in which she may submit a full photoset. As soon as this photoset is submitted and accepted, the model becomes a Suicide Girls Hopeful.
Hopefuls’ sets are subject to member review after sitting in the queue for however long that may be (it varies.)
Once any set (Hopeful or otherwise) is in member review, it may be chosen for “Set of the Day” and put on the front page.
This is the only way a Hopeful “goes pink” or becomes an official Suicide Girl.
A models first Set of the Day marks her as an official Suicide Girl.
Set of the day is chosen based on quality of the photos as well as the comments posted by members. If a set “does well” and is well received by the community, it is more likely to be chosen.
This is why we need your help! The more support we get, and the more verbal you are about how you feel, the better our chances of going pink!
Thanks for sticking around for my longest blog post ever. I felt this needed to be said, and I hope it was helpful!
