@missy @rambo and @lyxzen blog homework this week is "best advice for dealing with haters"
When I joined Suicidegirls, most of my town had something to say. Whether it be positive or negative, I didn't care because I loved Suicidegirls and I was (and still am) proud of my choice. In the beginning, I was curious about what others had to say. I'm a slut, I'm not pretty enough, blahblahblah. But slowly, that got old, and the support inside the community became of greater importance than that of outside.
Now, the haters are different. With the boom of social media, everyone has an opinion. I surround myself with pretty positive people, and I myself don't get myself in trouble or into fights, I just never have. You know those people, that just "dont know why so many people hate them". Yeah, I'm not that kind of person haha. I get too exhausted for drama, I give up too easily, which has been in my favor over the years.
Anyway, my way of dealing with haters is deleting and blocking. Ignoring and being grateful, that someone is trying to go OUT OF THEIR WAY to make you feel bad because of their insecurities. Sit back and look, this person is hurting. Instead of analyzing their words, analyze their actions and just feel sorry for them. Unless it's something you truly want to fight for, like world peace or fucking feminism, just lay low. Use that energy of anger to go do something good, like work out, write a song, mow your goddamn lawn. Just, fuck it :)
Also, Psssssst!
