My mother might have cancer again. She had a calcification where her tumor once was and her mammogram showed yesterday those had grown significantly over the week. She's always been one to hide her fear from others but it's a different story when you're there at the moment. She's been cancer free for over 10 years, there's still a chance it won't require chemo and radiation. I guess we'll find out once she schedules her biopsy. She's a strong lady, if she can do it once, she can fight it again.

An ironic note to add, she always gets her cancer related news on odd dates. For instance, yesterday when we went to get the news, it was Friday the 13th. When she found out she had cancer, it was April Fools. Other things have happened on birthdays or holidays. Odd right?

Aside from that, things have been good. Since California law requires all food business to have a kitchen, we're in the process of finding one. It's much harder than you think, living in a small town. Even though we have the highest unemployment rate, it seems like all the kitchens to rent out are gone or taken. If anyone knows an easy way to find one down here, feel free to tell me.
