Time to Brag!!
I started doing the new Weight Watchers and working with a personal trainer and I lost 8lbs (!!!) this week.
Super excited!

That's great! Just keep in mind and don't get down that subsequent weeks might not be so effective, right now you've lost water weight. But it's still absolutely terrific! YAY! = )

Just a thought that struck me: the real thing you should be proud of is not the actual weight loss (although GO YOU!) its the fact that you're doing something proactive to better yourself; become healthier, etc. Make that fact the focus of your excitement, and the weight loss ups and downs won't be something that you'll end up fixating on.

Oh my goodness that looks delicious... What exactly is in it? Your apron is so cute :-)

It was very delicious and super easy to make for something that looks and sounds so fancy. It has:
-Sara Lee pound cake (from the freezer aisle) as the cake layers
-orange liqueur sprinkled sparingly on each of those
-pecan mousse made from heavy whipping cream, sugar, and "cookie pieces" pecan bits
-dark orange chocolate mousse made from bittersweet Ghirardelli chocolate, heavy whipping cream, sugar, and fresh orange zest
The instructions are super easy to follow too.
And thanks! I got it at Ikea because it was too damn cute to pass up.
Is anyone else tired of this ridiculous weather? I for one am going a bit stir crazy from all the gray bleakness we've been having recently. I'm okay with cold temperatures - though they aren't my favorite - as long as the sun is shining at least half of every week. I feel like I haven't seen a single blue sky day in ages. Really...
