No, I'm not a human mother. I haven't born a child or adopted one or anything like that, but my kitty cats are my babies. I'm 25, I'm not married yet, I may never be able to have kids naturally, and my kitties are my babies. Deal with it.
That being said, one of my kitty cats is very sick right now and I'm absolutely torn up over it. I keep wondering what I could have missed that would have stopped him from getting so sick. What didn't I see until it was too late? He's at the vet hospital now and will be there until Sunday. He's getting IVs for fluids and catheters and an e-tube placed for forced feedings and I just keep thinking I've failed him. For Pete's sake, he's only 6 and a half. =(
My poor sweet Figaro.
