Is anyone else tired of this ridiculous weather? I for one am going a bit stir crazy from all the gray bleakness we've been having recently. I'm okay with cold temperatures - though they aren't my favorite - as long as the sun is shining at least half of every week. I feel like I haven't seen a single blue sky day in ages. Really a buzz kill.
I'm also struggling with a cold, which I hate. I honestly hate colds more than being really truly sick. At least when you are really sick you can stay home from work and other obligations and under the covers. When you have a cold, you may feel miserable, but you have to keep doing your normal day to day things, just with snot running out of your nose.
It's looking like it will be a good Thanksgiving though. I've got our apartment pretty damn clean and ready for some guests and for pictures to share with friends. We've lived her most of the month of November, moved our furniture in the 13th, and are just now really feeling settled. Thank goodness. I love where our building is located though. I mean, yeah, it's on a busy road that some people think is a "bad part of town" but really? We are in the Italian Village about a block off the Short North toward the north end. So we are walking distance to lots of great places in both the Short North and in the OSU campus area. There is a decent cop presence because of this too. So I don't think it's unsafe at all. But then again, if you grew up in a suburb or sleeper community in a ritzy part of town, I'm sure anything could seem dicey to you.
