Well, I have to say that I don't like the weather in Cincinnati at all, especially not today. Today was the first day of spring, officially, and what was the weather? I believe it was what we call 3 inches of snow! Yeah, that's right, it didn't snow for real at all in December or January but come the end of March and it just can't help but snow all over the pretty flowers that were starting to bloom. I drove my mom to work this morning and the trip normally takes like 20 to 30 minutes but today it took over an hour! Insanity.
I had my follow up appointment with the sleep diagnostic people today. That was fun. Turns out I have mild sleep apnea and really quite terrible insomnia (I could have told them that). Because the apnea is so mild they aren't going to put me on one of those machines because the sleeping medicine they are going to give me should help me both fall asleep and stay asleep better, but it will also help ease the apnea crap. The one interesting thing I read on my report, however, was that my blood oxygen level dipped below 85% multiple times during the night but my normal baseline was 97%. I don't know if any of you know what that means, but it's bad. My mom was worried when she heard that because it is a cause for alarm when hospital patients are below 94% for more than a few seconds. *shrugs* Ah, how I do love asthma and sinus infections that won't go away.
Oh well. I think I'm done for now.
