1. I need to remember to sign up for a laundry time, honestly. I'm out of freaking pants, almost.
2. I think this is jealousy and this kind of jealousy is totally foreign to me.
3. I have minor pitikias (sp?) on my arm and I'm not sure where they came from.
4. The Entry I Promised...
Saturday
I woke up at about 12:30 because some ass holes were throwing around lawn chairs in one of our neighboring yards, but I guess I can't complain too much because my alarm was about to go off anyways.
When I got out of bed I came into my room and found that I had several IMs because I had forgotten an away message the night before, so I responded to them and gave Steve a quick call. Apparently his phone or computer was off time wise because he IMed me before he got my message and had thought something had come when he got my voicemail. But, honestly, that furthers this story none. After showering and dressing, I met Steve at the OPS for the worst lunch ever, but an amazing pumpkin chai latte. Because my food sucked so, we ran by the house and I ate something real quick like and we hit the road for Cinci.
When we got to Cinci, Steve met my cat - who loves him, by the way - and I picked up some stuff and my mom's card so I could get some stuff at Jungle Jim's. Then, we headed there. Steve was in awe of the hugeness of the place and the hot sauce scared him some, but it scared me on my first visit too. We wandered around for a good while and I got some stuff, and he got some stuff and we left. I decided that I needed to treat him to Chipotle, since he had never had it before, so we dropped our purchased goods off and I drove over there. We ate and then decided that we weren't ready to leave for Springfield yet, so we wandered around the mall. This was apparently the happening spot for all the high school kids who were ready for Homecoming and neither he nor I could figure out why. After the mall, we went to Borders and listened to music and I bought the Best of Morrissey album I wanted and we went back to my place. We grabbed our stuff and headed home (school bound).
When we got back to campus, I expressed my desire to not go back to my house and we both went to his instead. We watched one movie and then.. decided to watch another. As the second movie went one, I was leaning on his shoulder and it was nice. When it finished, Joey stopped by and we all chatted while I ate sushi - Steve decided his was icky - and so forth. When he left, I think we just kinda decided that I wasn't going back, I'm not sure how or why that happened, but it did and I wasn't going to argue that. Let me tell you this though, sleeping on a futon in the seated position is damn near impossible to do comfortably with two people and not be totally spooning. But when I was cuddled into his shoulder he laid his head on mine and when my hand was on his arm, he held my hand. Kinda makes me feel all... meh when I think about it now. It was sweet. But that didn't last too long, he finally put the futon down and we split.
Sunday
I woke up at about 12:30p when Steve climbed over me to potty and hit the shower. When he came back, we switched the positions we were laying in to laying across the short length of the futon. I kinda laid a bit away, but as we lay there, we kept getting closer together. I'm not sure who initiated this inward movement, but as either of us shifted, we got closer. Then he took my hand and was holding it under the pillows while he had his other arm around my shoulder. But, we kept getting closer. For a while we lay there with our noses touching before he kissed my nose and it was really cute. I'm not sure when it happened - though I know he initiated it - but we started to actually kiss. We would kiss then cuddle and kiss then cuddle and it was really super nice. Kids, we did this for like three hours and managed to resituate ourselves to laying on the futon normal like before we realized what time it had gotten to be. We still totally laid there and cuddled a while though, which was nice.
At 5 - yes, we pretty much didn't leave the bed until 5pm - Steve and I decided I really did need to go so I wouldn't have to be locked up in his room for a couple hours while they did their Lambda Chi stuff. He scoped things out and then we snuck out through the downstairs cold dorm door and out to his car. He drove me home and I have pretty much done nothing since then. I guess I did knit some and discuss this issue with Lisa and one or two people who happened to overhear.
Jill, you gave some nice reassurance to me in those 5 minutes on the stairs.
Now it is bed time.
