So i figure it's about time for another update...
Last weekend I went out with the guys from work. We went to a bowling night which was put on by one of our contractors (kind of a thank you for putting so much business there way), they kindly put on all the food and all the booze for free! Safe to say I was fairly smashed by the time I left!
I then followed this up by meeting a load of my friends in town for more booze! At the end of the night though, the ceiling in the club nearly fell in on myself and a friend!
saturday night, I actually managed to spend a night, at home, on my own, free from booze! I was quite proud of myself since I've not done so in ages, probably over a year...I might not seem like a big deal to some, but I'm trying to save money and prove to myself that I can actually stay home.
Other stuff that's been happening this week - I finally packed in the meat! I've got back to being a proper vegetarian again and since I'm one of those weirdo's that doesn't drink milk and rarely if at all consumes cheese, I am now practically vegan. I'm just playing with the pro's and con's of becoming full vegan - I think the major draw back will be the lack of cake
And in preparation for halloween... I have purchased a hat - a deer stalker no less:
