I have always been a musician, I will tell you from my 18 years of musical experience, practice makes perfect, but if your heart truly calls to music, it's really once you let go of making the perfect record or making the perfect decisions, that your art really starts to grasp your own attention, and other people's attention.
Mycr@ft is my stage name. It was originally eviLove, but I changed it because I don't want evil to be associated with my music, only the girls that listen to it :p Bold and Reckless like me...
I have a gift for music.
Ever since I was a little boy, My brain always made patterns that were different than what I was hearing.
My little fingers would drum on things and it was so easy, that I never for a second thought that I could make a living off of these banging sounds and just being myself.
Music is really what separates us from the animals, and I believe in the development of our species, especially as of recently, the music we listen to is very important.
It can be the reason why you are so Ignant,
Or the reason why you get up in the morning,
Or the reason why you are such a fantastic person.
We define ourselves by the music we listen to, and more often then not, we don't know what we are actually getting.
No history on this blog, just a suggestion: Next time you listen to a song, even if it's a song you know, focus on how it makes you feel inside primarily, while the lyrics and the notes and melodies will automatically fall into the background of your consciousness. Take a moment to simply aknowledge that how you feel right now is totally different, and feels different in your mind and body, than if you were not listening to any music at all.
I rest my case, music is powerful, and along with marijuana it can't be beat!
This is not a sales pitch, just some plain begging and grovelling...
