I had a panic attack today and just walked out of work. I've had soooo much studying to do and I had told my job that I could only work one day a week but they put me on the schedule for 4 days this week, so I figured I'd deal with it--I brought in some study cards to look at but they said I couldn't look at them and then I freaked out a little bit because I feel so overwhelmed and I thought I was gonna cry. So I went to the breakroom but there were like 20 people back there so I just grabbed my coat and walked out. I got on the bus and went the fuck home. I can't really believe I did that actually--I guess I hit a breaking point. I've got too much shit to cram into my head and Barnes and Fucking Noble just does not matter that much to me. So I guess I am jobless now. It feels refreshing but it's not like I get to hang out all day. I get to study!
In other news, I got my car fixed! I can pick it up tomorrow. So that was a good 3 months without a car--I'm suprised I made it. I'll be happy to never see those fucking bus people again. I can't tell you how many drunk middle-aged men with 4 teeth ride the bus. Good riddance.
And finally, a moose just wandered through the yard and munched on the tree. I like moose.

And busses are crazy. I rode one to SF every day for 7 months when I worked in the city... You develop the `fuck off glance' when those less desirables get on and look at the empty seat next to you... Glad your car is back online and running....mine should be ready tonight so I can join you in that joy as well!
there are many, many, beautiful things in alaska, but the people of public transit don't make the list.
if there is 1 thing i've always known about living here, it's that there is always a job somewhere. oh, and by somewhere, i mean in the greater anchorage area. so, buck up little camper happy trails await.
