It's official..I am depressed. I just found out last week that my boyfriend's company is relocating him to LA! That's 3000 miles away from here. We have only been dating for 3 months but I get the feeling that he is going to ask me to go with him. So now I am faced with a tough choice: Do I drop everything and move across the country with him after only 3 months of dating ( I should tell you though that I have known this man most of my life, we graduated in the same class in high school ) or, do I let him walk out of my life-possibly forever? Why does it always have to be like this? I love this man. I feel like my whole life I have been searching for him.....and now this. I have 2 months to decide. He's leaving April 15th.

as to your conundrum i am actually facing a similar problem. my girlfriend (we started dating beginning of Nov) is going to be moving in May to Santa Fe, NM with her sister and her sisters gf. we've only been together for a little while, but as with you and your boy we were actually really good friends all through high school and lost touch afterwards for about 6 years. we just recently found each other again and discovered we were perfect for each other.
personally i'll probably move... and i'd recommend the same to you... you can always move back if all else fails, right?
so anyway, if you think of another solution to your problem let me know (maybe it will help) and i'll do the same... lol
