Well, it's my birthday today. It's 6am and I am the only one awake just sitting by myself reading blogs, updating my iPhone, drinking tea ... quiet morning by myself, the usual.
The "draw a full page vagina challenge", wow! Don't Google image search "vagina", there is some really nasty shit out there that can really throw your game off. I tried google and deviantart, and in the end I have thank the vaginaholics group on SG for linking a million great vag pics. I already drew the "inny" parts, the labia and clitoral hood, and was careful to try and capture every little fold and wrinkle, but now I'm left to do the mons pubis, and well now... I really didn't want to spend two months on this drawing, it was supposed to be a couple evenings really, as an exercise, but the mons pubis includes a whole lot of hair follicles and is presenting a challenge I wasn't entirely prepared to face. Ah, the life of an artist, lol.
Drove home last night and pretty much went straight to bed, tired and sick. Feel a little better this morning, which is good because I'm having some friends over for my b-day. Every year I like to do something with my friends on my birthday, we've gone to the strip club, and my friends pick up the tab, and I feel insanely guilty, because lets face it, the strip club, although fun, is incredibly expensive.
This year, I'm barbequing steaks... and lobster and clams and scallops, and short of leaving cash on the table, my friends can't pick up the tab. I get to give back. Plus, I really, really want lobster and some good company.
SG is certainly on a redhead kick lately, has anyone else noticed? So many red headed girls getting to be SG's. I'm incredibly drawn to them myself I'm noticed, as in faveing pics and girls lately. A shame really, I've never really met a ginger girl that is into ginger guys. Just, thinking in type again I guess.
Girly got me a Kobo reader for my birthday, which all in all is an excellent gift for me. She said it occured to her when she saw me pick my backpack up and I had tried to pack enough books to last me while I was gone, so that ended up being the entire hunger games trilogy and another book just in case, which I'm not going to claim is heavy reading, unless you measure in actual weight. Now I can carry about 1000 books at a time, that'll be good.
I'm going to pick up Arkham City today, and another new game, Rocksmith. Arkham City is going to be pure awesome, and I think I know what to expect, but I have to say I am getting really pumped about Rocksmith. It's like guitar lessons in a video game. I took lessons 4 years ago, but haven't been so big on the practicing, this is going to help and I'm pretty pumped about it.
I won't be home for Halloween this year, which is a complete bummer, because we're in a new town, and the little one is 4, so I'm going to be missing some complete awesomeness. Last year we lived in a neighborhood largely populated by immigrants, and I'm all about cultural diversity, especially when my neighbors can make me curry and samosas, but only every 6th house was participating in Halloween, what a bummer for the kids.
I miss the smell of cooking masala, but now my neighbors are the type that play loud rock music and drive their quads up and down the street. I'm among my own kind, and that's kind of comforting, but I can tell that Christmas and Halloween are going to be a big deal here. There are so many kids my sons age that he has three really great friends to play with on a regular basis that are at the most three houses away.
I'm not really sure of my motivation for writing such a lengthy blog. I guess I just get a little carried away when I get started now. Weird, I didn't even think I was going to be able to do this when I first started. Weirder still when you consider that for the most part it is largely going to go unread...
Well anyway, the best part of Halloween is the one I'm still going to get to participate in. It's time to carve pumpkins this weekend... Yes! Can I top last year's cullinary masterpiece?

Again, Happy Birthday.
enjoy the games, etc. Lengthy blogs tend to be awesome when they happen for no particular reason...
good luck on the pumpkin carving...
