lots to think about Its offical, i have 2 weeks left of this break before school starts again. My time at buffalo state has been interesting, i've met some good people and some amazing profressors, i've learned more about myself and about what i really want to do, and now it is time for me to start making decisions about my future. Currently I am enrolled in Buffalo States Earth Science Education program, as some of you may or may not know, i'm concidering withdrawing myself from this program to recieve a BS in Geology, probably environmental geology, or petrology. At the very least i know i will not be taking any education classes this semester, just to take a break from the BS that education classes are, and explore real science and not *scientific inquiry*. Other things i have to take into concideration are wether or not i want to stay at buff state to recieve a geology degree, as much as i'd hate to admit it UB does have a much better overall program, nto to mention it offers better facilities and more options for concentrations, and job placement, not to mention they offer a program where you can recieve your BS and MA at the same time, and that would place me at graduating the same time as i would normaly at Buff State in the program I am currently in. I would feel like a fool if i went back to UB, 1 b/c i hated it so much there, 2 b/c i left UB to go to Buff state i have a lot to think about over the next two weeks, and the next semester. I'm going to be doing a lot of reseach about the deptartment differences, i'll talk to my professors at buff state, and i'll contact the deptartment at UB and see what i can find out.
