took Wally to the vet today. he has an inner ear infection in both ears, and has some allergies and potentially a UTI. he also has a something with an L patella, where it pops and such sometimes but if he isn't limping it's ok, and the reason his front feet are flat is because he most likely damaged tendons and ligaments from pawing vigorously at a hard surface, also his teeth are chipped like he was gnawing at metal. poor baby. I font even want to imagine his life before he was rescued. its so sad. I've been pretty bummed all say just thinking about how hard some poor defenseless animals have it. but other than those things, he is really healthy, heart is fine, eyes, outer ear areas, joints are all great. oh and I got him a lyme disease vaccine bc we just found a tick on my dad a few weeks ago. they are everywhere around here. I'm just so glad I got to give Wally a good, safe life.
and I also pretty much decided I need to go into the veterinary field.
oh and there was this ADORABLE cat at the vet named Boo Boo. she's a little long haired black cat with bottom teeth that stick out with her underbite and she has no eyes. they had to remove them for some
medical reason. but she absolutely LOVED Wally. and he liked her a lot. she rubbed on him and purred and meowed. she was so cute. I wanted to stay and play with her all day.

You've got a great heart & compassion & these animals could use that.
I think it's great that you are want to be a Vet. You would be great at it!
