OMG I AM BEYOND EXCITED RIGHT NOW!!!
i talked to my parents and they agreed to let me get a puppy!!!!!!
this is the fella i've got my eye on!
his name is Cesar and he is an 8 month old Chihuahua Corgi mix. he has all his shots and is fixed and house trained. and yes, i will be adopting him from a shelter. that was the first thing i told my parents, that i was going to get one from a shelter, i refused to get one else where.
i can't believe they actually said yes!! but since i'll be home now and i will have more time to spend with him, they agreed to let me get a dog, as long as its small/medium sized, and as long as i take care of it myself.
soooo this weekend i should be going to the shelter with my dad to pick him up or check him out or whatever is necessary for me to do to bring him home!
im ecstatic right now! i can't wait to have a little fella to play with and love!!

Make sure you take him for a LONG walk before you bring him into your home to drain some energy.
Also, don't let him have full run of the house...bring him in, on a leash, and introduce him to the house slowly, and keep it to a few rooms.
Do not allow him on furniture. In the beginning I suggest umbilical training so he'll learn that you're pack leader, and also crate training.
