People of Earth:
So I'm just now finally getting around to utilizing my second favorite feature of Suicidegirls.com (my first favorite should be fairly obvious).
I used to 'blog' a long time ago at diaryland.com...shit sort of hit the fan around there, and I bailed on that right about the time I started hearing newscasters and people older than my grandparents mentioning their web journals.
In the 60's, I'm told that the common conceit amongst free-thinking young people was 'don't trust anyone over thirty'. These days it's probably more like "don't trust anyone over 50, white, male, and wearing a suit," although that's really only a general rule of thumb. The fact of the matter is, you're best bet is to simply not trust anyone.
Pretty sad state of affairs, eh?
