Manic Monday. I should be doing an assignment, but I'm doing EVERYTHING else.
I loved this weekend so much. I went out to see my good friend that I haven't seen in a long while spin breaks with her lovely fiance on Friday night. I remember no why I liked that world so much. It seems so long ago. But I have no regrets trying to build up my brain now instead of breaking it down.
Saturday I went to SSI to do some hiking. It was ridiculously gorgeous out. My favourite and I had raw oysters with bellinis, and then clambered to the top of Maxwell to fuck on the mossy edge of a long drop, wearing nothing but hiking boots, and watch the sun go down. We hiked back in the dusk and explored the most sacred piece of planet that I have ever known. Since the loggers bought it, they have blessedly done little damage. They seem to know better than to mess with the Sidhe, and the lone hawthorne tree still stands. There was a birthday that night, at the cheesiest new bar in my town, but the music was surprisingly good. The night ended with drunken banter around a fire.
Sunday was a long roller skate, a fondue dinner, blueberrry tea over the harbour with a much anticipated guest, and naughty fun by the fireplace. a charmed couple of days, I tell you what.
Now the boy's off in a chopper, and I must study molecules.
xoxo.
