My Grandma called us last night, she was lying in the floor and didn't know how she had got there. She had for some reason lost conciousness. Mom had talked to her at 8 and she was about to go to bed. When she called us it was about 9:10. She had been changing into pajamas for bed and had her clothes half on her when she woke up on the floor, so the best we can figure she was unconcious for about an hour. She pulled herself to a phone and called us. We called an ambulance and she was still in the floor when we got there. The Drs are still running tests. All they will tell us now is that she has bronchitis. I just don't see how that would make her pass out for an hour. I just don't understand. The paramedics said her blood sugar was 274 or something. The Drs are not saying anything about that. I don't think she had a stroke, I looked for any outward physical symptoms of that and didn't see any. The ekg was fine so it isn't her heart like it usually is (She has congestive heart failure). I just don't know what it is. We came home to get a little sleep, hopefully we will get to talk to the dr this evening.
