So this blog will possibly be the last before I move out into the big wide world. At 23 years of age, many things have happened, past and present, that have prepared me for such an occasion. It feels right. 23 years old is a pretty good age to do things now a days. Some still might scoff, but bugger them. They are probably those that moved out and then had to move back in with there parents. Anyway, Friday is slowly approaching. I have most of my packing done, apart from all the day to day bits, clothes and my PC. This is the second time I've seen my stuff in boxes in the past 3-4 years, but I'd like to think this is the last time for a while. It's been pretty good though. I have a big pile of stuff that I no longer want or need (see below) that I can get rid of. Overall, I've shed a lot of stuff that I won't miss. No doubt, with my habits, it'll soon be replaced with something as equally as stupid and/or pointless.
As such, as you might imagine, we have a lot of stuff and procedures to follow through and sort out. We might not have teh internets (OH NOES!) for a few weeks, so if you need me for some twisted or sincere reason, you can email me at evapilotone@hotmail.com.
Obviously, once my base of supreme dominance and cataclysmic fear is fully operational, I'll be sure to post up a heavy blog. Or maybe not. I do like to keep you fuckers on your toes after all.
So recently, I discovered that quite a few people actually enjoy reading my blogs. I've been getting a couple of messages here and there saying that they like the way I write and have I ever considered writing a book or anything. To be honest, I never have, but it made me realise how much I actually enjoy reading and writing. I enjoy words in general. I love writing these blogs too. What fails me, and thank fuck for Spell-check, is my grammar and spelling. It does take me a while to make sure everything reads correctly and that I haven't made any stupid mistakes. It's always something that a mate of mine always picks up on when I speak to him on MSN. While, in the beginning, I hated him for it, I came to realise how much he's actually "installed" into my brain when it comes to grammar and spelling, so I guess, in a warped sense, I should be grateful.
In light of this, as a great fan of fantasy, sci-fi and myth, I've decided to enroll in a local evening course starting shortly called "Writing Original Fiction from History and Myth". I've always wondered how so many writers can still come up with ideas that are in themselves unique. I mean, I understand that everything is influenced in something, but I've never been able to come up with a character that stands alone with a certain charm or factor of there own. It's all a grey and brown sludge of different characters from various comic books, movies and computer games. This applies to the plots I usually come up with as well. So, whether this helps to make my comic book script a reality, or whether it starts an epic tale in novel form, we'll soon see.
I'm pleased to see that due to my annual wage, that I can claim for a grant to cover the costs. So that's pretty cool. It's not much, but it certainly covers what I'd need to pay for the 10 week evening course.
I'm liking my new hair more than I imagined. A few people were shocked, but the majority have said how much better I look with it. Among the comments were "You look thinner.", "Are you single?" and "That's fucking epic, mate.". The best thing about it is that I no longer have to brush or wash it (I still wash it, but people with long hair will get what I mean here). It's nice to know that I could get up and get dressed, and that's me pretty much ready for the day!
That's pretty much it I think. My weekend was filled with Magic the Gathering, a film about special agent guinea pigs, spare ribs and packing. All in all, a pretty nice weekend. It was the first weekend that Sarah wasn't over (She was at home packing) for a very long time, and I missed her a lot, but it's all for the greater good of living together and getting to see her every day.
Hakuna-matata bitches!
