Thoughts?
Anyway, I'm sitting here, watching "My super ex-girlfriend", with a big mug of tea after one of the fastest weekends I've ever experianced, but it was awesome!
It was, as you might remember, the Glasgow Fright Fest 2009.
Sarah, our mates and I had a real good time with what I thought was the best year ever so far. I really can't wait for next year, and we're thinking of heading down to London for the "main event" in August. I hope we do make it. I'm a little gutted I can't make the 1-day event in March.
Anyway, top pick of films this year...
- Dead Girl - Some real crazy thinking here, but a great movie. Pretty sick and funny. Third place of the weekend for me.
- Outlander - The 13th Warrior on Acid. Fucking awesome stuff. 2nd place this one.
- Walled In - Meh, good idea, shite acting.
- Dorothy - Best film of the weekend. Awesome story and great execution. Loved it.
- I Sell the Dead - Good times, worth the watch, made me LOL.
- Grace - Just fucked up. I found it a little slow in places. Again, worth the watch.
- The Unborn - Fucking shite.
- One Eyed Monster - LOL
So tomorrow means the end of the car insurance I have. Meaning I'll be giving the car back to my mum, by choice, as I can't be bothered with it anymore. It really has become a pain in my side, so much so that I'm willing to brave the world of public transport again. It's only for a short while. In a matter of months, I'll be living in town anyway, pretty much removing my need of transport all together.
They really are sponges when it comes to money, but I'll be sad to not be able to drive about on a nice day with music blasting.
That's about it really. Nearly the end of Feb, and I have plenty planned in March. Good times.
WANT
I only just realised this weekend that your name is infact Eva Pilot One rather than Evap-il-o-tone like I always thought it was! Teehee
