So, as I mentioned, my SG profile and pics went tits up for some reason.
It won't let me change my middle pic above, or it's taking ages to upload...very annoying.
Still, I've sorted some detail, but as ever, choosing a top ten is rubbish. Not my style.
The snow is coming down pretty heavily tonight. Now that I'm home, I couldn't care less, but it does makes things difficult.
I was out with my Dad today. We went up to Callender for an MG meet (as in the cars), but instead it was actually far more interesting than I thought it was. It was held at Dreadnaught Garage in Callender itself, as it specialises in MGs among other makes/models.
We pretty much spent the day listening the to Father of the family, talking about various technical issue and stories regarding the racing team they have and how anyone can do it. I found it really interesting. It has to be the most clean/pristine garage I've ever seen, and however modest the family were, you could tell they were very proud, and rightfully so.
Afterwards, the MG Club went to the local pub for a meal and a drink. Talk was made of a possible track day, and my father was asked to join the executive team for the club itself, so I think he can't wait to get more involved and have more input.
It's made me want an MG ever more and I can see my taking my dads Midget off him when he gets to the stage that he can't drive/care for it. It's pretty cool to have something like that with my dad.
Still, a good weekend all in all.
Tomorrow will be the anniversary of the day Sarah and I got together, but what with Valentines being on a Saturday and work etc, we are waiting until next week to see each other. We have a couple of plans, but at the moment it's all weather depending by the looks of it.
I can't believe it's already been a year. Time flies past, but I couldn't have asked for a better year. I just hope she's willing to have me around for many years to come...
