Is it wrong that I listen/watch to CD/DVDs that I buy for other people? I guess I already know the answer, as I text Sarah (softparody) asking "Is it bad that I've listened to Hollys (Step sister) CD about 5 times now?"
Which she said yes to, but it got me thinking...unless I break it, it's not doing it any harm, and I wouldn't care if someone did the like prior to me receiving a likely gift. It puzzles me so. I wouldn't do it with fancy DVDs such as Limited Editions and the like.
The said CD is "Riot" by Paramore by the way...
You know what I hate. People (namely my parents) asking me to do things. I just have this natural urge not to do them. To tell them to bugger off and leave me alone. I think it's because it's not "my" house. Sure I live here, I pay over the average 22 year old pays for living at his parents, but we have a fucking chore list. A CHORE LIST. I don't mind helping out round the house, but only on my account. I hate it when they ask. I have no idea why. What gets my goat is the fact that my room is pretty much the only room I'm in these days, especially when folk are in. Why should I clean up their crap? That's fucking annoying. I can't wait to get out of here, get my own space. I love my room, but to risk sounding like a fucking emo, it feels like a prison sometimes. ARRRGGHHH!!!
So Sarah and I went to see Clutch last Friday. It was awesome. It was our "proper" gig together as a couple I guess, apart from a couple of local shows. The venue itself is pretty awesome. I've been there before, but not upstairs to the actual stage etc. It felt very retro, the lighting was great and the audio was fantastic. Clutch themselves were great. Good track list of old and new. They played "A Shogun Named Marcus" which I didn't expect. It was utter greatness.
That's about it...for now, apart from feeling dead Christmassy at the moment. I'm really looking forward to this year. I've pretty much got my shopping finished and work is starting to gear down a wee bit.
I've stuck a bunch of pics that make me happy down below...
