"Hi Tim, welcome to the group, tell us about yourself..."
Well, I'm a pretty big metal head. I'm not sure what to do. I mean the other day, just the other day, I think I also admitted I was a Fall Out Boy fan...
"Lets keep it on the topic of Paramore shall we?"
Yes, yes...sorry. Well, as I was saying. I was driving home after dropping my girlfriend at home on a Sunday night. Just after 10pm, the XFM rock show with Katy P comes on. Now, I've done this for some time, listen to the show I mean, so I think it's only progression that they, by they I mean Paramore, have grown on me...
"And what do you think?"
I don't know. I feel like I shouldn't like them. I'm very much the type who likes it fast and brutal...I love Brutal and Old School Death Metal. Full Stop. I guess what I'm saying is that while my taste isn't really changing, it's sort of venturing out.
"Is that a bad thing?"
As I said, I have no idea. My brain is saying no...I mean musically, they are about complicated as drawing a line with a crayon...but they are so, whats the best word...not addictive...catchy. They aren't Emo...I know that much...which is what I think of Fall Out Boy for the record...both bands are more along the lines of Blink 182 and Green Day instead of the likes of My Chemical Romance. On the other hand, I've been listening to alot of older Rock/Grunge along the lines of Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam. My heart says yes at the end of the day. Hats off to the little teeny boppers and there pure and catchy tunes...

"Is that all?"
Yeah, pretty much. I've been listening to the 5 or so tracks on there Myspace over and over... so while I'm not going to rush out and buy there CD's, I'm certainly not going to bad mouth them. Plus I do think Hayley is rather cute...

Ahem... yes.
So, Paintball was a blast. Despite spending a lot of money...me and my mates had a great day. They have a great set up over at Delta Force. Didn't have a camera, and to be fair we didn't really have much time to take pics anyway.
Luckily I have a voucher for 8 folk that runs out in March, so I'm going to use this for my Birthday I think...Should be great.
The Halloween all nighter was a good laugh too. Saw some folk I knew and met some new faces in the runnings as well. Not the best lineup ever, but to be fair, the chap that organised it pretty much put it on at the last minute after last year not doing great...but he took ideas on board and next year should be amazing. The movies were, in the following order...
Tremours:- Always great to see this movie, and loved the fact I've now seen it on the big screen. One of my fav Horror/Comedys.
The Hitcher (1986 version):- Same again...great to see on the big screen. It was my first time seeing it in one go as I've only seen parts. Freaky movie.
Midnight Meat Train:- Not even Vinnie Jones could save this, despite his character being spot on. The short story by Clive Barker is much, much better.
Shaun of the Dead:- What needs to be said really...just a shame I was so tired at this point.
Saw V:- Utter fucking shite.
So yeah, good times. No pictures again...
So who has started their Christmas shopping? *raises hand*
I'm pretty organised this year...I have pretty much got an idea for everyone I'm buying for. I've even got a spread sheet set up to keep things tidy and to keep a count on what I've spent. Good times. I'm looking forward to Christmas this year...despite the usual shitty choice of who to spend it with...although my mother has said to do what I like as I'm older now, so that should make things a little easier.
Lastly, what's with the new "My SG" section....I don't think I like it at all. I'm going to have to play about with it to get it the way I like etc.
Well, I'm off to listen to Paramore for the 1215664534234th time tonight...
Just to keep things metal, here is a video by Cannibal Corpse.
