Anyway!
Guitar Hero 4!
Yup, fuck you Rock Band. I'm waiting for this bad boy. Seriously? Tune and create your own music and swap it with friends? I'm all over that. The drums look way better, with the tom and crash symbol, not forgetting that it's made of rubber, removing that stupid "clack" sound you get with Rock Band. It also doesn't look like it'll break if you hit it too hard.
I was going to miss out Rock Band and get Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, but even that can fuck off now. I'm waiting for this
One thing I have discovered that I'm bad at. Hinting at stuff I want. For example, there was this shirt I wanted, I basically nagged and hinted at my girlfriend to buy it for me expecting her to turn around and say buy it yourself (and to be fair, she did, kinda...). Sooooo, I then switch to the mother, who buys it for me! Good times.
Pleased with myself, I text my lady to confirm victory, only to be told that she bought it for me, on the sly, as a suprise. Easily fixed. After explaining to my mum, she called me an idiot (no argument there) and she cancelled the order. Still, it made me feel rather shitty. So I'm no longer going to nag or hint at stuff I want.
So, some of you might remember me taking up Taekwondo. Well, I decided to quit. I'm happy I went back to it after all these years to see if it's something I still enjoy, and well, it just isn't. It's all about disiplin. Something I can't be bothered with to be honest. It sounds shocking and lazy on my part, but my heart isn't in it. You learn early on that it's a way of life, so yeah. There we go.
I need something I can kick back and enjoy, which is why I'm still saving to get my Snowboarding habit started.
I just hope my mum isn't disappointed. I know she was glad I took up a "physical activity". I know she worries I'll end up gaining a load of weight like my uncle. I just need to do my own thing I guess.
Another option I've decided on is to start getting the bus to work instead of the train as of the end of June. This will no doubt take a little longer, but it's going to cost less than a third on what I spend on travel at the moment (I need to drive to the station aswell). This way, I can walk down to the stop and save alot of cash. As mentioned, it'll take longer, but with the money saved, I can get my finances sorted a little quicker and hopefully replace my MP3 player, which is long overdue. Means I can get some reading done too.
I've had a good few weeks. Plenty of sunshine, went to the zoo recently, for a friends birthday. Good times.
Speaking of which, Sarah and I bought her a SG account. Go say Hi.
LittleGonzoGirl (or Aileen to us)
I also got my left nipple pierced. It was an experiance. I have my lobes pierced (and stretched), but this was a different ball game. Wasn't half as bad as I expected it to be to be honest. I'm happy I got it done too. I have had hardly any bother with it at all. Not half as bad as my lobes when they were first done, and they had less blood vessals or nerve endings. Odd. But the sensitivity of the said nipple has shot up. Hopefully it'll be the same when it's fully healed
That's about it. I'm looking forward to seeing The Hulk, along with various other movies out soon. Still have Bloodstock Open Air to look forward to. I'm still having my regular day dreams about finally getting my finances sorted and getting into a Flat with Sarah. That's all I can think about, and aim for at the moment. Funny how things change. Anyway, I'm off to finish watching 24.
Toodles.
