Oh man.

I didn't even know te set was going live, vermelho just called me last night to tell me it was up- how exciting!

First i want to say how incredible everyone has been. I never expected such a warm and welcoming responcse.

Second i want everyone to be my riend on myspace. I'm terrible at links, i always fuck tem up but it's www.myspace.com/evangelinesuicide

Third, i wanted to talk about the set a little. Primarily i want to talk about how awesome Vermelho is as a photographer. He's amazing. I actually had this idea two years ago but the photographer in Maine (i went to school up there briefly) wasn't very creative or helpful and just told me it wouldn't work, but apparently it can.

The idea is i'm composing a dear john letter and it just seeps out into everything (the way break ups do) and it was shot in my apartment where at the time i had no furniture, which was very convenient. It was a bitch finding that typewriter and we had to go to a shady warehouse and talk to a guy name 'Julio'.

The polaroids on the front were taken in the Mugshots photobooth (formerly my favorite bar, but i lost it in the big breakup- fuckit, Creekside's better anyhow) and they are all pictures of me and exes except for the one with the handdrawn FOUND logo, which i inserted myself one morning upon wakin up entirely hungover and finding it in my purse with no recollection of when i took the pictures or who the hell that guy was. So it was like a FOUND item where i'm the star but i still have to guess what the backstory was.

And Franny and Zooey really is my favorite book. I stole all my Salinger books from the Maine Environmental College Library, becaue i know that nobody would have checked them out besides me anyhow.


Just one more time, thank thank thank you for every sweetstupendous word shared. I appreciate and read every one of them.
