Just a warning....this journal entry will be a bit geeky. If you don't care read on.
Today consisted of trying to figure out what was wrong with my computer. For the longest time I thought it was my video card, then I talked to a friend who has the same motherboard as I do. His was acting up just like mine is, so he walked me through getting it working. Well, nothing was really working other then reseting the cmos. And that really didn't do much until I turned the PSU on and off a bunch. Now after loading my settings in the bios it still won't run properly. It is reading my chip a lot slower then what it should be at. Fucking abit board....
Now I am shopping for new stuff. I am thinking of going with some 64 bit power now. Since I really don't want to go back to abit boards I will prolly try my hand at a msi board. Eh....I like spending money but not when I haven't even started my job. I will still get new stuff though just cause it's hard for me to go without my baby for too long....
Geeky part over now....I went second hand shopping today. Found some sweet new shirts and a vintage pair of pants. They flair too. Also a stack of new books to read....always a plus.
I guess today wasn't a complete loss.

Hmmm things to do in Calgary. You might want to join the SGWest group and schmooze around -- lots of us cowtowners in there. Honestly, I go out more when I'm visiting Edmonton, especially when it comes to music venues. Calgary is very much an "outdoorsy" kind of city. Lots of snowboarders and such.
