WTF?! It's snowing outside!
Since a couple of weeks I feel like I would actually like to go back to work again. I saw a great vacancy online from a day care center. I have worked in a day care center before and this one I especially liked because they work with a specific pedagogy based on therories from Reggio Emilia. They asked for someone who know how to work with w digital camera and computer. It was just screaming: "Eva, we want you!" I called and it turned out I don't have the right diploma to work there. I have already worked with kids in all kinds of settings, but the law changed and I no longer can. FUCK! All my experiance and years of studying psychology isn't good enough anymore, WTF?!
Need to change my plans now. Not sure what I want to do.
SaucisseDanseuse came to visit Amsterdam last weekend. It was fun. went out for dinner, went to a concert, walked around town, visited the Albert Cuyp Market and more. I can't wait to see the pictures!
I had to shoot Snow Patrol last night at the Heineke Music Hall (hahaha, I accidently wrote hell). It was sold out so there were about 5000+ people there. I didn't like the show, listen to one song and you have heard all, and the lights sucked.

Since the beinning of Novmber I've been going to art classes once a week. I really enjoy it. In the beginning I found it a bit hard to change the way I was used to work, more expressive, but I'm doing ok now. We have done ceveral things now: Paint, work with pastel drawing chalk, linolium, stone etc. Two weeks ago we went to the Rembrand House Museum, which I never went to before, and got some lessons there on his work. I loved it. I learn a lot of things that can be usefull for my photography too, like working with shadows and composition.
I'm pretty tired at the moment. I've not been sleeping a lot lately and last night the bandmembers of Angel City Outcasts stayed over after a show they gave so it was a late night again. Sam organises hardcore/punk shows in Amsterdam and often bands sleep here. If you live in The Netherlands you should come some time! You can find their agenda HERE.
That's it for now!
Eva
Update: Oh, I just found two new roommates! Our walking sticks have babies!

lately all the concerts i go to have a no flash limit, AND the lights are total shit... it's so difficult to take good photos in such conditions. i liked the composition of the stone sour one, but in the original pic, it was basically all black, too dark!
ciao!
En ik heb in een paar dagen al 10 prints verkocht, dus dat gaat prima
